Thanks for using HiFiTracker. These Terms explain the basic rules for using the HiFiTracker mobile app and related services.
By creating an account, signing in, starting a trial, buying a subscription, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use HiFiTracker.
1. What HiFiTracker Does
HiFiTracker helps you keep track of hi-fi equipment, components, listening systems, listening sessions, component usage, photos, notes, and estimated replacement timing.
The app is a tracking and organization tool. It provides estimates and reminders based on the information you enter, but it does not replace your own judgment, manufacturer guidance, professional servicing, or careful inspection of your equipment.
2. Your Account
You may use HiFiTracker by creating an account or signing in with supported providers such as email/password, Google, Apple, or X/Twitter.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login information secure
- Providing accurate account information
- Using the app only for your own lawful purposes
- Letting us know if you believe your account has been used without permission
If you use a third-party sign-in provider, your use of that provider is also governed by that provider's own terms.
3. Your Data and Content
You own the information you add to HiFiTracker, including equipment details, component details, listening sessions, notes, and images.
You give HiFiTracker permission to store, process, display, back up, and sync that content only as needed to provide and improve the app. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Please do not upload content that you do not have the right to use, or content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates someone else's rights.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Purchases
Some HiFiTracker features require an active subscription. Subscriptions may be offered monthly, yearly, with a free trial, or through other plans shown in the app.
Subscription purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform you use. Payment processing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed by the store where you made the purchase.
While the subscription is active, HiFiTracker Premium may be available on supported iOS and Android devices when you sign in to the same HiFiTracker account. Store-level restoration uses the Apple or Google account that made the purchase. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds remain with that store.
Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. To avoid renewal, you must cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings before the renewal deadline shown by that store.
If a free trial is offered, it may convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. The exact trial length, price, renewal period, and cancellation rules are shown in the purchase screen before you confirm the purchase.
We cannot directly cancel, refund, or change subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google. Please use the store account where the purchase was made.
5. Component Estimates and Reminders
HiFiTracker may estimate remaining component life from data such as initial usage, listening session history, and expected lifetime values that you enter.
These estimates are informational only. They may be inaccurate if entered data is incomplete, if usage conditions change, or if a component behaves differently than expected. You are responsible for deciding when to inspect, service, or replace your equipment.
6. Acceptable Use
Please do not use HiFiTracker to:
- Break any law or regulation
- Access another person's account or data
- Upload malicious, illegal, or rights-infringing content
- Interfere with the app, servers, or other users
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or abuse the service
- Misrepresent your identity or ownership of content
7. Privacy
Your use of HiFiTracker is also covered by our Privacy Policy. It explains what data we collect, why we collect it, which services help us run the app, and how you can request deletion of your data.
Privacy Policy: https://hifitracker.app/privacy
8. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and app data from the app's Settings screen.
You may also request account deletion at: https://hifitracker.app/account-deletion
Deleting your account removes your HiFiTracker account and app data from our active systems where technically possible. Some purchase records may remain with Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other service providers where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, subscription, or platform compliance reasons.
9. Third-Party Services
HiFiTracker relies on third-party services to provide core app features, including authentication, cloud storage, analytics, subscriptions, and app distribution.
These may include Firebase, Google, Apple, X/Twitter, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
10. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep HiFiTracker reliable, but we cannot guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
We may update, change, pause, or discontinue parts of the app when needed for maintenance, security, legal, platform, or product reasons.
11. Termination
You may stop using HiFiTracker at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being used in a way that violates these Terms, creates security risk, causes harm, or breaks applicable law.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
HiFiTracker is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of equipment, loss of profits, or interruption of use.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
13. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any right to bring a claim before a court or authority available under mandatory applicable law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are important, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users by updating the app, posting the updated Terms, or using another appropriate method.
If you continue using HiFiTracker after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
